Minimal system requirements * Operation system Windows 7/Vista/XP * .Net Framework 4.0 * CPU: Intel Celeron 1 GHz or better * RAM: 256 Mb or more * Free HDD space: 20 Mb TROUBLESHOOTING 1. Installation problems For the correct installation the administrator rights must be used in the operation system. It is strongly recommended to exit all running application during installation and follow the instructions of the installation wizard. Please, read the displayed messages carefully! If the setup-file was downloaded from the Eltra web-site (http://www.eltra.org) or received by e-mail it must be checked for viruses or switch on virus monitor (if installed)! Should the "file corrupted" or "installer error" appears, try to download the file once again. If the problem appears, which can not be solved, please, contact ELTRA technical support (http://www.eltra.org/contact.shtml). 2. Software update New software version can be downloaded from the ELTRA web-site (http://www.eltra.org/software.php). The installed Uni software should be uninstalled prior to the installation of the new version. The installation over the previous version is not recommended. When uninstalling the Uni-software, the profiles (results database and configuration) are not deleted automatically (unless "Delete profile" check-box is marked). Therefore, after installing the new version into the same destination folder, the operation of the software can be performed without any further adjustments. 3. Problems with software start Should the problems with the software start appear, please, assure, that the configuration of the PC meets the minimal system requirements (see above). Install additional components (Microsoft .Net Framework, Service Pack for Microsoft .Net Framework, Microsoft MDAC v. 2.6 or higher) if necessary. You can found .Net Framework redistributables and MDAC 2.8 on the software CD, supplied with the analyser. The links for download can be found on the ELTRA web-site (http://www.eltra.org/software.php). If the problem appears, which can not be solved, please, contact ELTRA technical support (http://www.eltra.org/contact.shtml). *NOTE: the software has help-function, please use it for additional information. 4. Problems with software operation Should the software error appear, please, make sure that the reason of the error is software itself. Print technical report and send it by fax with detailed description of the problem to ELTRA: +49 (0)2137 12513. Screenshots can considerably ease the work to locate and solve the problem. APPENDIX 1.
